We are currently looking for a highly motivated self-starter for the position of :
 

Responsibilities:

 

This role is central to supporting strong customer and supplier relationship management and is a key interface between Sales, Operations, Inventory, Procurement and logistics. It is responsible for:
- Balancing the overall demand and capacity planning within the AMEA sector to ensure optimization of both the customer needs and manufacturing but also overall profitability.

- Integrating operational planning with Finance to (i) inform whether the consensus plan will deliver financial targets and (ii) inform future capital investment decisions including avoidance and deferment.
- Driving strong teamwork and understanding of different functional needs to ensure the best result for Rexam overall
- Providing visibility into demand/capacity for strategic/critical decision making and commercial prioritization.

Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)
- Management of the SIOP process for Cans, Ends and Metal in AMEA based on the requirements of the business and the capability of the capital investments
- Monitor Operations/Sales adherence to SIOP and take corrective actions, escalating accordingly.
- Support the monthly SIOP process/meetings with appropriate pre and post activities as appropriate.
- Create and analyze scenarios to support the different business options as part of the SIOP process.
- Chair the monthly Volume Review and escalate key issues for the Supply Review.
- Ensure an optimum utilization across the region
- Improve forecasting ability to meet customer needs increasing forecast and supply plan accuracy
- Aggregating and validating local forecasting, checking for trends versus planning metrics, identifying risks and escalation to the Supply chain manager and wider team as appropriate.

Can and End Planning Analysis
- Support and create as determined by Supply chain Manager monthly Can/Ends capacity plans including budget, strategic plans and ad hoc analysis.
- Input, create, gather and analyze data for the normal monthly planning cycle.
- Analytical support to the Can, Ends & Metal planning
- Co-ordinate operational issues relating to the Can/End plan under direction of the Supply chain Manager.

Inventory
- Statistically set inventory targets and parameters for proper and efficient management to the Can, Ends and Metal stocks and work with the plants to actively manage to these.
- Work with Supply chain manager to establish AMEA Can Inventory and Support can Parameters.
- Proposing and monitoring Cans/Ends and metal Inventory

Ad hoc Support
- Support the Supply Chain team in collating / analysing data any other adhoc tasks required to support the function and projects it is working on
- Work with the Logistics team to identify and implement cost saving improvements to existing production distribution and warehouse profiles
- Provide leadership and development to the planners in the plant

Qualifications:
- Relevant Degree or equivalent within a business discipline, Industrial/Production Engineering preferred
- 4+ years of experience in either demand or capacity planning within an FMCG or B2B environment with multiple SKU’s
- Solid and relevant finance skills
- Detailed and analytical background, skilled with producing reports, data and presentations
- Evidence of a strong and frequent communicator at all levels and different functions of a business
- Excellent English language skills both verbal and written
- Confident and self-assured with good negotiation skills
- Competent analytical skills, high level of numeracy
- Strong technical skill in Word, Excel and Power point
- Participate in meetings and able to produce minutes, charts and data on verbal/ written instructions
- Able to prioritise work load and work and deliver to deadlines
- Practical use of LEAN techniques for business improvement
- Good interpersonal/communication and influence skills, understanding other’s concerns and objection
- Team player with ability to work in multinational environment and understand cultural differences

 

 

 

The role will be based in Belgrade, Serbia with up to 30% travel time in AMEA region.
