The Marketing Manager Global Key Accounts (MM GKA) will lead the global marketing efforts for the GKA’s under supervision and guidance of the GKA VP’s. Key tasks include the development and deployment of global joint value creation plans for each GKA and global market & customer data management.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions (> 10% time spent on these duties); approx. 10 line items recommended:

  • Develop and lead product management to focus on demand and superior product portfolio
  • Develop pricing strategies incl. "pay for performance" terms

Market Intelligence / Global Beverage Model /Market analytics

  • Responsible for Beverage Model (BevMod) management: steer a company wide demand model and consult KA Mgr for data entry & technical issues with ongoing in-depth review of all data (competitor, country, region, product, etc.). Ongoing communication of can market trends and market share developments
  • Accountable for overseeing the collection of can market and of customer intelligence and integration of that information into GKA strategic plan development, i.e., prepare reports, analyses and derive implications for Senior Management.

Key Account Marketing Strategy Development and Deployment

  • Collaborate cross functionally / and across regions to develop winning Go-to-Market strategies, based on deep market & customer insights that will grow volume, revenue and CM.  Responsible for providing customer input into the GKA VP’s
  • Understands and analyses the respective KA’s brand portfolio and packaging strategies to identify, develop and continually improve KA coverage plans to create demand (ie pro-active proposals for solutions re right brands, channels, consumer trends, price tiers, etc.) and tracks the results vs. objectives
  • Develop, coordinate and monitor joint customer value creation plans including identification of new profit pools (eg. innovation, product mix, new categories, new geographies, logistics, lightweighting, etc.) for each GKA along entire value chain in collaboration with cross functional KA teams
  • Drives positioning of the can as a lifestyle product and the most sustainable solution

Key Account Management / Reporting & processes

  • Creates integrated account profiles (e.g., sales by region, share of wallet by region, growth and latest trends)
  • Works with global key account lead to define global account strategy and creates global account plans accordingly. Supports regions to translate global account plans into local plans to each region for global accounts and ensures alignment with global strategy. Monitors progress of plan
  • Provides thought partnership to key account leads (global and regional) to deploy best key account practices
  • Disseminates tools and templates for all key account management processes
  • Implements deployment and effective use of CRM system for effective global account coordination
  • Provides Commercial FET lead with global perspective on global accounts
Qualifications:

 

  • Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience
  • Job related experience for 3-5+ years’ in project marketing
  • Knowledge of key elements of marketing campaigns including Paid Media (PPC, Display, Social Paid, CPM, etc.),      Conversion Rate Optimization, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing and Digital Analytics
  • Experience in partnership and brand marketing
  • Experience strategizing with executive-level teams
  • Highly innovative and ambitious self-starter with strong business acumen
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and be very flexible in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Creative thinker and able to continually contribute ideas to brainstorming sessions
  • Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with outstanding follow through skills
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Occasional travel and extended work hours as needed.
