Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Performs all activities related to contacts with children's sponsors and SOS Children’s Villages Serbia programs,
  • Collaborates with the colleague responsible for collecting funds from individual donors: obtains and processes information about new sponsors for changes, check-outs, cash gifts, checklists and sponsorship guarantees, and provides new information, photos, registrations, transfers and check-outs,
  • Communicates with sponsors and donors and is their main point of contact: Designs messages directed at sponsors and donors and writes exciting, honest and inspiring messages for them,
  • Conducts necessary documentation and correspondence, in accordance with the organization’s procedures,
  • Ensures continuity in the sponsorship process,
  • Maintains contact with the Regional coordinator and obtains support, training and knowledge exchange for quality work,
  • Cooperates with SOS parents, educators in the Youth Community and professionals in SOS programs,
  • Writes and transmits reports, organizes and monitors visits of children's sponsors or SOS programs,
  • Maintains a database of local individual donors and sponsors and carries out an annual communication plan with them (e-mail, calls, reports, thank-you notes, etc.),
  • Prepares and sends contracts, reports and other documentation to individual and corporate donors,
  • Participates in organization of events and in the Fundraising campaign,
  • Submits reports to the Fundraising Associates in order to collect resources from individual donors,
  • Works on administrative tasks related to the work of the Fundraising part and Fundraising projects (preparing draft of various acts, scan and copy of materials, mail administration, processing data on the computer, archiving of materials and documentation, etc.).
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • University degree in Marketing, Economics, Communication or Literature,
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in similar role (Fundraising, Customer relations, Sales and similar)
  • Networker with excellent communication and presentation skills,
  • Creative, innovative and pro-active personality,
  • Goal and customer oriented and result driven individual,
  • Strong individual capable to work in highly dynamic team of professionals
  • Fluency in English,
  • Excellent computer literacy,
  • Driver’s license preferable.
