On behalf of our client, a successful, international company based in Belgrade, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the following position Finance and Accounting Manager

• Manage & oversee the daily operations of the accounting department (local team in HQ and stores & outsourced functions)
• Process monthly, quarterly and year end closings (IFRS & local gap)
• Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports & statements
• Responsible for all accounts payables & receivables, general ledger, fixed assets, cash management and taxes
• Improve processes and procedures – in our headquarter and stores
• Maintain relationships to banks and service providers
• Initiate improvement projects – with priority on processes and cash management
• Manage the team through developing and maintaining the culture of trust and open communication

• University degree in Economics, preferred with a professional accountant qualification (ACCA or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of experience as an Accounting/Controlling manager in an international environment
• Proven track record as a change manager
• Ability to lead the team in local headquarter and outsourced functions
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Experience in Financial analysis/controlling/business planning is an advantage
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• High level of problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong team player
• Goal oriented approach
• Fluent in English
