On behalf of our client, a successful international company, BARRY CALLEBAUT, a Swiss cocoa processor and chocolate manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the following position: Senior Regional Project Engineer in Novi Sad.

• Defines, establishes and executes all activities related to the Regional Projects, assigned to him/her;
• Performs detailed analysis of required processes, defines setup and equipment required. Communicates with all relevant stakeholders on the definitions and project charter;
• Establishes autonomously the required project charter in close cooperation with process, supply chain, R&D and other relevant parties;
• Safeguards the Engineering and QA standards during the project design phase;
• Establishes RFQ’s for procurement of all equipment and manages the procurement activities in close cooperation with sourcing;
• Establishes the optimum Detailed Time Schedule (DTS) and Financial follow-up data, to meet the required project objectives;
• Will always seek the best available solution for a given challenge, joining the technical, environmental and economical requirements;
• Organizes and leads project steerco’s, on a planned base;
• Defines the required resources for the (sub) project at hand in close cooperation with the Manager;
• Manages the project execution, after IP approval;
• Ensures adherence to the local and highest safety rules, during the project execution;
• Manages all project on-site activities and resources, internal and external;
• Reports frequently and correctly to all stakeholders;
• Executes all project related activities in close agreement and cooperation with site Management;
• Pro-actively engages in the use, promotion, training, definition and follow-up of the project documentation standards. Including all IT related project activities;
• Challenges existing standards and proposes possible improvements, working closely with CI and QA;
• Provides technical support when and where possible;
• Follows technical market evolutions, collects and organizes its documentation for the BC community at large;

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, equivalent or similar acquired by experience;
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within a food industrial environment;
• Project Management skills or qualification, preferred;
• Strong analysis and trouble shooting skills using 5 Why’s, parato, fishbone diagram;
• Basic Accounting and budget management skills;
• 2D CAD proficient, 3D CAD knowledge, MSProject (or equivalent) proficient;
• Perfect English, verbal and written:
