We have been present in Serbia since 2002 in two business segments, Cement and RMX. Since 2022, we have expanded our business to Aggregates and asphalt with the tendency of further expansion. For our business in Serbia, we are looking for a new team member to strengthen our local sales team.

On behalf of our client, Lafarge Serbia, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the following position:

Cement Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

About the opportunity:

We are seeking highly motivated professional to develop and lead a Sales Manager function at Lafarge Serbia.  We are going through a very exciting period, as we are right in the middle of executing 2022 “Building for Growth” Strategy and restructuring of our operations. This is a highly visible role in which you'll work as a sales business partner for Sales Director and CEO.

Position is located in our Belgrade office but also in newly renovated corporate office in Beočin, next to our Cement plant, just 20km from Novi Sad. 

The main part of the work of the Cement Sales Manager includes: 

  • Managing the business line with a focus on the customer and the sale of differentiated offers;
  • Working in the field to improve sales activities, building stable relationships with clients and improving them through providing technical and sales support as well as creating new customers;
  • Defining key indicators of success with the aim of monitoring achieved results; 
  • Designing and implementing the value proposition by segment, working on performance management and coordinating all sales activities;
  • Responsibility for organizing sales work, negotiating with clients, and proposing and implementing a sales plan.

Candidates are also expected to be fully committed to the environment and H&S  at work while performing the duties of Cement Sales Manager. The selected candidate for the position of Cement Sales Manager is part of the management team of Lafarge Serbia and attends regular sales and management meetings and training. She/He is directly responsible to the Sales Director, who is a member of the Executive Board of Lafarge Serbia.

Qualifications:

Requirements expected from candidates:

  • It is necessary that a candidate is a person with high integrity;
  • That she/he has a university education and more than 5 years of experience in sales or similar jobs (technical support, product development, etc.);
  • That she/he has experience in managing teams and that she/he has achieved results;
  • It is important that she/he understands and works on constant sales research and development, that she/he understands the needs of the market and that she/he is ready to make changes;
  • An added value would be experience in product development as well as experience in sales of construction materials and a good knowledge of the construction market.

It is necessary for the candidate to be an active driver (B category), to know how to work in the MS Office environment and to have advanced knowledge of the English language.
